Camp Duraflame

Every May, we head to camp and spend the summer lighting fires and filling our evenings with nostalgia at Camp Duraflame. Summer is filled with s’mores, fireside activities, and blasts from the past. In summer of 2022 it was all about windows down, music up. It was shorts and sandals, fewer Mondays, more time off. Cheers and beers instead of phones and meetings. We filled the summer with the pillars of Rekindling Connections, Capturing the Moment, On the Road, and Fireside Sips and Snacks. Summer is about connection, and each year as the sun shines stronger, Duraflame invites everyone over for a fire.

Role: Creative Director

Oiselle 2025

Oiselle 2025 was rooted in the idea of new beginnings and the balance of being both feminine and fierce. I shaped the creative by building a seasonal direction inspired by running, change, and the momentum that comes from shedding anything that slows us. The work created a clearer point of view for the brand and set Oiselle up for its next stage of growth.

Said in Zest

Materials: Markers and grapefruit zest
Notes: With a name like Said in Zest the design had to be loud and in your face. Be sure to watch the video at the bottom for a behind the scenes look and the full design process!

Oiselle Brand Book

Oiselle’s first ever brand book was my chance to put words and visuals to a beloved brand created by women who run, dream big, and show up for each other. I shaped it as a story where the voice, visuals, and values all trace back to the same idea of Flight. It serves as a guide not only for how Oiselle looks and sounds, but how it feels at every touchpoint.

Role: Creative Director

Elevate Outdoor Collective

K2 Sports has been around for decades, and with twelve outdoor brands in their portfolio it was time for a new name and design. In what was ultimately a few short weeks, we settled on Elevate Outdoor Collective and a logo that comprehensively captures all twelve brands. I had the role of art directing and designing their new logo which was released in the spring of 2022.

In addition to the rebrand of K2 Sports to Elevate Outdoor Collective, I had the opportunity of designing and creative directing for three social channels under the EOC portfolio including Atlas Snowshoes, Tubbs Snowshoes, and K2 Skates.

Role: Creative Director and Designer

Black Hearted

Materials: Hand illustration
Notes: A brewer named this beer after his girlfriend viciously tore out his heart and served it to him on a silver tray. The vision of her sharp nails puncturing the soft flesh of his heart was obviously the inspiration.

Role: Designer

Mountains

Sometimes I climb mountains, sometimes I paint them.

Oiselle 2026

In 2026 I was part of the full development cycle from the start, which allowed me to guide the creative with greater continuity and intention. I helped design and direct the product line and patterns from first sketches through final details, built a new partnership with Wild Rye, and led color direction across the season. I have been involved in the strategic planning and every touchpoint for the upcoming launch across all channels, ensuring that product, storytelling, and marketing all align with a clear and distinctive point of view for Oiselle.

Duraflame

Everything is #betterbythefire with Duraflame, years of working with this brand as a designer, art director, and creative director has brought tremendous growth year over year. With an impression increase of almost 92%, and engagement rate increase of over 34% Duraflame is burning brighter than ever. From photoshoots, social media, weekly newsletters, a 50K sweepstakes, web design, and digital advertising I’ve lit more fires than I can count (literally and figuratively).

Fore Winds

The first few months of a new social channel can be awkward and daunting, but that wasn’t the case with FORE WINDS Camp Stoves. Immediately, we were making people hungry and gaining followers for these Japanese-designed and made outdoor stoves. I’ve hired models, acted as the model, learned to cook, learned more about butane fuel than I thought possible, and done so much more working as the creative director for this account as it hit the United States market in 2022.

With an average monthly follower growth of 42.2% on Instagram, it is no secret that the perfect mix of organic posts, paid posts, influencer campaigns, and giveaways bring month after month success of engagement and follower increase.

Raspy Whisper

Materials: Chocolate, raspberries, and a brewer’s beard
Notes: I threw raspberries and chocolate at a brewer’s face for almost an hour; the design idea coming from my desire to have a food fight.

Role: Art Director and Designer

Snailbones

Materials: Watercolor and computer illustration
Notes: Snails don’t even have bones.

Oiselle 2024

In 2024 I became Oiselle’s first Creative Director, joining a brand with a fiercely loyal community and a product line that was already set for the year. My job was to take that runway and build the look and feel across everything from photography to marketing to paid to e-comm. It became a year of turning strong products into clear and consistent storytelling and giving Oiselle a fresh visual voice that still felt true to who we are.

50th Anniversary

At the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023, I directed Duraflame’s 50th Anniversary sweepstakes, where $50,000 serves as a grand prize. Pulling inspiration from retro Duraflame ads and vintage designs, each month of the sweepstakes was positioned around each decade since the start of Duraflame in the 70’s. Finding the balance between encouraging the audience to enter for prizes, along with continual engagement in the brand and fire log sales was a delicate balance that led to some of the most successful months of Facebook and Instagram along with a dramatic increase in people signing up for the monthly Duraflame newsletter.

Oiselle WIP

In 2027 I am focused on building the framework that will guide the next chapter of Oiselle. I am directing the color palette, patterns, themes, and early product concepts, ensuring that everything is grounded in a forward looking vision for the brand. This phase is about setting the tone, shaping the creative guardrails, and creating a foundation that will carry through design, storytelling, and marketing as the season develops.

Notes: Elysian’s response to the haze craze. What does it all mean? That’s for you to decide.

Role: Designer

Saison Elysee

Materials: Needlepoint
Notes: I did the needlepoint for this one on the flight to my bachelorette party. No one wants another farmhouse saison with a pretty rooster on it.

Role: Designer

Avatar

Materials: Computer illustration
Notes: Avatar Jasmine IPA had been around for a while but needed a refresh, with a simple design change that didn’t scare away repeat consumers but attracted new consumers; this one was a smashing success.

Role: Designer

Raspy Whisper

Materials: Chocolate and watercolor
Notes: Wait, haven’t we already seen a Raspy Whisper design? With a sudden change in direction, Elysian wanted to package this beer in a slim can and target non-beer drinkers. Within 48 hours this design was sent to print.

Role: Designer

Getaway Scar

Materials: Computer illustration
Notes: One of those projects that never saw the light of day, but you can’t give it up. Check out the last photo for the final design direction.

Role: Designer

Saison Poivre

Materials: Pressed greenery and computer illustration
Notes: Ordered a peppercorn plant from Amazon and then pressed and scanned the leaves, the plant still sits on my desk today. (It never did grow any peppercorns.)

Role: Designer

The Fix

Materials: Hand and computer illustration
Notes: The most expensive beer at Elysian was just begging for a gold leaf screenprint.

Role: Art Director and Designer

Philips

Working with the global brand, Philips, has opened many doors to ideas and executions over the years. I’ve had the pleasure of being on the design and creative direction of Philips Sonicare, Zoom!, Ultrasound, Air, and Home Living. With a focus in social, digital, B2B, and B2B2C my work can be viewed all over the world.

Hawaiian Sunburn

Materials: Hand and computer illustration
Notes: It started as an idea to wrap a story the entire way around a 6-pk, and ended with three different labels on the same beer in each 6-pk. Look closely, there are some spicy details along the way!
